TIRANA, Oct 15 /ATA/- The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informs that in the last 24 hours, of 536 tests performed, 21 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
The positive cases were detected as following: 11 in Tirana, 2 citizens each in Fier, Mallakastër, Kolonje, 1 citizen each in Shkodër, Malësi e Madhe, Durrës, Kamëz.
There are 252 active cases of Covid-19 throughout the country.
Currently, 2 patients are receiving treatment at the COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours there was 1 fatality due to SarsCov2: a 77-year-old patient from Tepelena.
19 citizens have gotten over the infection during the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases to 327,629 since the onset of the epidemic.
