TIRANA, Sept 29 /ATA/ On the Vlora airport road, work continues uninterruptedly for the construction of engineering art works as well as drainage and irrigation canals.
The Albanian Road Authority informed that currently the works for the construction of the road track, which entails crushed rock backfilling at a length of 2.1 km, are in full swing.
The connection of the Vlora airport with the national road system takes on great importance for the flow of travelers and the transport of goods who need to take the shortest and most cost-effective route to access the national axes of the country and their destinations.
Vlora International Airport is one of the biggest works in the civil aviation strategy that is designed to accommodate all types of flights, including the transoceanic ones, which until now have not been offered by our country due to insufficient runway length in Rinas airport.
