TIRANA, September 10/ATA/ Last evening there was recorded another cyber attack by the same aggressors on the TIMS system of Albania.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said that, “We are working night and day with our allies to make our digital systems impenetrable”.
On July 15, our country became the object of a serious cyber attack, which aimed at destroying the Government’s digital infrastructure, paralyzing public services, as well as stealing data and electronic communications from government systems.
The investigation revealed that the masterminds and sponsors of the cyber aggression was the Islamic Republic of Iran, which engaged four groups for the attack on Albania.
Therefore, the government of Albania decided on September 7 to break off diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran with immediate effect. Albania’s ally countries also condemned Iran’s cyber attack. /j.p/p.s./
