TIRANA, August 19/ATA/ The General Directorate of the Road Transport Service reported that the new system for the technical control of vehicles puts an end to abuse of the odometer, as it updates the kilometers travelled and history.
The Directorate said that the new technical control certificate that is issued at every technical control center is now formed according to a completely European model.
The new technical inspection certificate also carries additional elements such as the kilometers travelled (odometer history over the years), for a period of 10 (ten) years, the place/date of performing the technical inspection, the category of the vehicle , test result, as well as QR Code for security and easy verification, as well as the bar codes.
According to the Directorate, this step improves the quality of service provision for the citizen, the protection of the consumer and the automotive market, as well as serves to the standardization of processes and control systems. /j.p/p.s./
