TIRANA, July 29/ATA/ Deputy Minister of Interior Besfort Lamallari received today the German Federal Drug Commissioner Burkhard Blienert in the venues of the Ministry of Interior.
They discussed the excellent current cooperation between Albania and Germany, alternative development programs with GIZ Albania, the German experience and the government’s initiative to control the cultivation and processing of cannabis for medical and industrial purposes, Lamallari said in a post on social media.
In addition, Lamallari added, they also discussed on promotion of cooperation and the exchange of best international experiences, in particular the UNODC – United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Conventions and Resolutions and the recommendations of the European Commission’s Drug Agency (EMCDDA). /j.p/p.s./
