TIRANA, July 25 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama informed on Monday that Majlinda Dhuka will hold the post of Chief Negotiator and Minister of State at the Prime Minister’s office.
Rama said: “As the priority of Reconstruction gives way to the priority of negotiations with the EU, Minister of State shifts to another profile either.”
“Majlinda Dhuka, a high technical profile instead of the high diplomatic profile of Ambassador Mazi, becomes Chief Negotiator, also Minister of State at the Prime Minister’s office,” Rama said in a post on his social media account.
Prime Minister Rama thanked Mazi for his contribution to opening the EU accession negotiations.
“I thank Zef Mazi for the contribution to the historical achievement of the opening of EU accession negotiations”, said Rama.
Prime Minister Rama has submitted to President of the Republic Bajram Begaj the proposal for the appointment of Majlinda Dhuka as Chief Negotiator and Minister of State at the Prime Minister’s office.
