TIRANA, May 22 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announces that in the last 24 hours, of 445 tests performed, 26 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Ministry, the positive cases were detected as following, 14 in Tirana, 7 in Fier, 2 in Shkodra, 1 citizen each in Durrës, Himara, Përmet.
“There are 242 active cases of Covid19 throughout the country. Currently 4 patients are receiving medical treatment in COVID3-designated hospital. In the last 24 hours there was no fatality due to Sars-Cov2 ,” according to same sources.
“34 citizens have gotten over the disease in the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases to date at 272,125 since the outset of the epidemic,” the ministry said.
