TIRANA, May 1 /ATA/ – On the International Workers’ Day or May Day, Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed Sunday gratitude to all workers in the reconstruction programme projects launched by the government of Albania in the wake of the devastating earthquake that hit the country on November 26, 2019.
PM Rama posted a gallery of pictures showing a number of reconstruction sites from the single-family homes to the residential multi-family complexes, kindergartens, schools rebuilt from scratch as part of the ongoing post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction programme.
The government head praises workers for delivering on this project on construction of safer, more resilient and more beautiful homes for thousands of families that lost their dwellings in the tragic earthquake.
“Good morning and I wholeheartedly thank all of the hardworking people who make the reconstruction project true and without whom we wouldn’t be able to make the affected families smile again,” PM Rama said.
