Manja: We shall abide by commitment on sanctions against Russia

TIRANA, April 6 /ATA/ Justice Minister Ulsi Manja stated today that Albania will respect its commitments as part of the group of countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia.

During a press conference after government meeting, the journalists asked Manja regarding the properties of Russian citizens in the Albanian territory and, if any, the properties of people close to Putin.

“Albania is part of the group of countries that have condemned from the beginning the Russian aggression in Ukraine and is part of the international alliance of countries that have imposed sanctions and made commitments in the framework of these international obligations,” said the Minister of Justice.

“It is a process that is being led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are cooperating with all the relevant ministries in this regard. Of course, we are also in close cooperation with our international partners and allies who are part of the group of countries that have not only condemned, but also accepted impose of sanctions on Russia. We are in the process of connections and arranging the approaches. If we have a list of people declared as financiers and supporters of the Russian aggression in Ukraine and supporters of the Russian President, we as a government will definitely respect to the end the commitment we have undertaken,” said Manja. /j.p/p.s./
