TIRANA, March 8 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced that during the last 24 hours in the country 87 cases have tested positive for Covid-19 out of 1605 tests performed.
“The positive cases are as following: 22 citizens in Tirana, 12 in Saranda, 7 in Fier, 4 citizens in Lushnja, Selenica, Gjirokastra, Berat, 3 in Elbasan, 2 citizens in Përrenjas, Kuçova, Memaliaj, Vlora, Kamza, Durrës, 1 citizen in Shkodër, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe, Puka, Kukës, Tropojë, Lezhë, Mirditë, Kurbin, Kavaja, Dibër, Mallakastër, Delvinë, Devoll, Librazhd, ” according to MoHSP.
Meanwhile, no fatality is reported.
Currently 44 patients are getting medical care in COVID hospitals, of whom 6 are in a more serious condition.
There are 1182 active cases of COVID-19 throughout the country, while 212 citizens have recovered.
