Rama: Open Balkan gets more important in present-day and time will confirm

TIRANA, March 2/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today from Lushnja that “The Open Balkan is not a change of basic lines of our foreign policy, in terms of alliances, partnerships and others, but it is a very important step forward and today in terms of what is happening “It is even more important than it was yesterday and time will confirm”.

Speaking with the citizens of Lushnja for the National Consultation questionnaire, Rama stressed that, “These days I have seen some who from the beginning have been opponents of the Open Balkan, now they are very strongly caught after the events that are happening as if we did not know what Russia is, what Serbia’s ties are with Russia and whether the Open Balkan is the former Albanian-Chinese friendship.”

While the Open Balkan, Rama continued, does nothing but makes it easy for the people who even today we are talking about, but even yesterday when there was never even talk about the Open Balkan, were active in this region, in this Balkan.

Rama said that, “We are simply and only trying to improve the conditions of economic activity of the people who currently act, who are currently exchanging and of course others who will want to act and exchange”.

“Meanwhile, Ukraine has not recognized Kosovo. Ukraine did not support Kosovo during the war, on the contrary, Ukraine was then in line with Russia. Today, not only the Albanians of Albania, but also the Albanians of Kosovo are in full solidarity with Ukraine and this is very significant”, added Rama.

Regardless, Rama continued that when they were victims of an aggression similar with this aggression, from which the people of Ukraine and the leadership of Ukraine are in danger of being physically eliminated, they did not have the same sympathy, they did not have the same support, did not have the same solidarity from Ukraine.

“This means that the moral superiority in this case in relation to the past is on the side of the Albanians “, concluded Rama./ a.a /p.s./
