TIRANA, Feb 28 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, stated on Monday that Albania is fully in line with the EU on sanctions against Russia, its unlawful war on Ukraine.
“Russia must take responsibility! “Ukraine has won our respect and deserves our support,” Xhaçka said, reconfirming Albania’s stand.
Yesterday, minister Xhaçka, at a media statement, outlined the package of sanctions imposed by the
Albanian government against Russia.
She added that Albania has joined the package of sanctions imposed by the EU and work is currently underway to draft a legal framework for their execution.
