TIRANA, February 28 /ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed today from office Prosecutor of the Prosecution Office at Fier Judicial District Court Violeta Shkurta.
The Independent Qualification Commission held a session announcing the decision for the subject of re-evaluation Violeta Shkurta.
Shkurta faced the vetting on February 25 for the three evaluation criteria, the legitimacy of wealth as well as the ethical and professional criteria.
The trial panel composed of Firdes Shuli, Xhensila Pine, Olsi Komici, after analyzing the evidence and facts, decided today the dismissal of Prosecutor Shkurta on problems with wealth.
Violeta Shkurta started her career as a judicial police officer in 1989 and has been working for almost two decades as a prosecutor in the Fier Prosecutor’s Office. Since 2019, Shkurta has been promoted as interim head of the Fier Prosecutor’s Office. /j.p /p.s./
