TIRANA, Feb 25 /ATA/ / The Bank of Albania announces that the banking sector has disbursed ALL 19.2 billion in loans during January of this year.
According to the BoA, compared to the corresponding period a year ago, lending has increased by 68%.
Lending growth has impacted all key segments of the market.
Thus credit to private enterprises increased by 47%, to individuals increased by 23% higher and to public enterprises by 8%.
According to data from the Bank of Albania, for 2021 the amount of new loans disbursed by the banking sector reached ALL 264.6 billion, or almost EUR 2.2 billion.
