TIRANA, Feb 11 /ATA/ President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, met on Friday with the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi and the Chief of the Army’s General Staff, Major General Bajram Begaj.
At issue was the common concern of our NATO partners about the threat of a possible Russian aggression against Ukraine, which would be a flagrant violation of international law.
President Meta underlined the importance of effective coordination with the Alliance, as well as the measures to move ahead with the reforms in order to further strengthen our defense capacities.
