TIRANA, Feb 11 /ATA/ The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, met on Friday with apple producers and processors in Devoll, Korça, to discuss the opening of new markets for their production.
Krifca said that in the region of Korça there is a great positive change compared to previous years, and many more positive changes are on the way.
She called on farmers to complete the necessary documentation to access assistance programs, such as grants or soft loans, in order to improve the quality of their product and make it competitive not only with products imported into the country, but also in markets abroad.
“Referring to the facts, there is an investment here that you did not have before. You have agricultural machinery that have rendered the work process very efficient. There are collection points that did not exist before. This is a fact. I will listen to your proposals today to improve markets and commit to move things forward.”
