TIRANA, Jan 10 /ATA/ Financing agriculture through government funds and IPARD II program grants continues to be an essential support for farmers, agribusiness and sector development.
During 2021, IPARD II program funds were given out to 166 beneficiaries, who received an average of ALL 1.4 million per person.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development announces that 70% of subsidies for agriculture are European Union grants through the IPARD program.
IPARD II grants have financed investments for farmers in the meat, dairy, vineyards, greenhouse, agritourism and vegetable processing sectors.
