TIRANA, Jan 10 /ATA/ Subsidies disbursed in agriculture amounted to ALL 2.7 billion during the period January-August 2021
According to statistics from the Ministry of Finance, the fund was given out to 2766 people with an average amount of 299,349 ALL per farmer.
For 2022 the government has promised a new subsidy scheme for agriculture and twofold increase of funding available for farmers.
MoARD budget addresses 7.1 billion ALL for financing rural development, of which 3.2 billion ALL go to support of about 50 thousand farmers, 400 million ALL to support for start-ups in agriculture, as well as the implementation of many new support programs. /j.p/sm/
