TIRANA, January 8 /ATA/ Industry is among the sectors of the economy where business is confident in the prospect of faster development, for the following period.
According to the Bank of Albania survey, the business and consumer confidence in the industry sector increased by 1.5 percent in December 2021, compared to the previous month.
The Bank of Albania said that the confidence increase is attributed to the positive performance of production and ordering contracts in total, which have a direct impact on improving the financial situation of businesses in this sector and expanding the labor market.
This sector has also recorded positive indicators in terms of foreign investment.
According to the BoA, foreign direct investment in the industrial sector amounted to 51 million Euros, in the third quarter of 2021, twice as much compared to the same period a year ago. /j.p/p.s./
