TIRANA, December 15/ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed today from office Arqile Basho, a judge at the Vlora Judicial District Court.
The Independent Qualification Commission held today the session for announcing the decision on the subject of re-evaluation Arqile Basho.
Judge Basho faced vetting on December 9, 2021 for the three evaluation criteria, that of wealth legitimacy as well as ethical and professional criteria.
Judge Basho declared a wealth of 1.3 million lekë in 2003, while at the end of 2016 his family wealth reached a value of 10.8 million lekë.
The trial panel composed of Valbona Sanxhaktari, Olsi Komici, Xhensila Pine analyzed the evidence and facts and decided to dismiss Basho from office.
Arqile Basho started his career in the justice system in 1995 as an assistant judge and in 2000 he was appointed as a judge. He has exercised his function in the courts of Tepelena, Gjirokastra and since 2011 in the Judicial District Court of Vlora. /j.p/p.s./
