TIRANA, Dec. 15/ATA/ The government approved today several important draft laws in the field of economics and finance.
The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj said that, “the law on Small and Medium Enterprises determines the categorization of small and medium enterprises”.
“Now all these enterprises are well regulated by legal basis, the categories of these enterprises have been defined, including the benefits they will get from the state budget in the future, providing financial and organizational support within all trainings aimed at development of small and medium enterprises,” Ibrahimaj said.
According to Ibrahimaj, the adoption of this law will pave the way for further development of SMEs, which are expected to increase by 10% in the medium term, not only in terms of number, but also in terms of the number of employees in this sector.
Also, the government approved the extension of the deadline for the beneficial owners until April 1, 2022, which means that all fines imposed or foreseen will be canceled while those paid will be reimbursed. //a.i/
