TIRANA Dec 7 /ATA/ In the third quarter of this year, prices of producer goods increased by 4.3% compared to the third quarter of 2020, while compared to the second quarter of this year they increased by 1.8%.
INSTAT published today the producer price index.
According to this report, compared to the third quarter of 2020, the largest price increase of 10.7% is observed in the extractive industry sector.
Even in the electricity and gas sector there is an increase in producer prices by 3.6%.
The producer price index in the manufacturing industry increased by 2.4%.
Within this sector, the largest increase in prices is observed in the activity of metallurgy, with 7.8%.
On the other hand, the largest decrease in prices is observed in the group “printing and regrouping of recorded media” by 3%, followed by the group “production of electrical equipment” by 1.5% and “production of optical, electronic, computer products” by 1.3%.
