TIRANA, Nov 22 /ATA/ Nuts, fruits, fresh vegetables in greenhouses, medicinal plants, etc., are some of high-demand Albanian agricultural products in foreign markets.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has already conducted an in-depth analysis of the market for agricultural products “Made in Albania,” which are much in demand in foreign markets, thus addressing the subsidy to increase their production in our country.
In the 2022 budget, MoARD has included these products in the national support schemes and aims to extend the support even through the IPARD program, while orienting farmers to invest in best-performing crops.
While MoARD is working hard on informing and supporting farmers on the demand-supply of the agricultural market.
Meanwhile, Albanian agricultural exports have reached the figure of 400 million dollars, which was unthinkable until 7-8 years ago.
