TIRANA, Oct 26/ATA/- Salaries for doctors, nurses, teachers, employees of Department of Defense, State Police and prisons are planned to increase next year.
Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj announced on Tuesday that, the additional fund for the new policy of increasing salaries in the budget is worth 2.4 billion ALL.
“Total expenditures on public administration salaries are estimated at 90.6 billion ALL, or 4.9% of GDP,” said Ibrahimaj.
In 2021, the government predicts a 6% increase for white coats and teachers.
The salary will increase up to 150% for police officers exercising their duty outside the residence, while the salaries of the Prison Police will be equalized for ranks and function with that of the State Police.
Meanwhile, in the coming year, the economic aid will increase as well. The additional fund for this policy is ALL 1.45 billion.
“The economic aid will increase by 10%. The aid will double in 2022 for mothers with many children. For trafficked women and children under 18, the amount of economic assistance will be tripled,” Ibrahimaj said.
In the budget of 2022, a fund of ALL 2.6 billion is planned for the indexation of pensions, while the fund for the end-of-year bonus for pensioners is worth ALL 3.5 billion. //a.i/
