TIRANA, Oct 19 /ATA/-By I.Vata/ -An agreement was finalized between the Ministry of Interior and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Albania under the STAR3 “Sustaining and Advancing Local Governance Reform” Project.
STAR3 “Sustaining and Advancing Local Governance Reform” Project has been developed as a collaborative effort in consultation and agreement with the Ministry of Interior and the Project Development Partners.
“STAR 3 Project is designed to take forward the Albanian government initiative on local government decentralization. The project’s overall objective is to promote and encourage civic engagement, improve service delivery and overall municipal performance, enhance capacity at the central and local level to effectively guide the policy drafting, coordination and monitoring,” the Ministry of Interior said in a release on Tuesday.
