TIRANA, Oct 15 /ATA/ The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime has imposed preventative sequestration of the “Alba Exotic Fruit” company.
The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime announced on Friday that it is conducting investigations as part of the criminal proceedings registered for the criminal offenses, “Narcotics Trafficking” committed in complicity as part of the structured criminal syndicate, “Structured criminal group” and “Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group, ” provided respectively by Articles 283 / a, 28/4, 333 / a and 334 of the Criminal Code.
The investigations of this criminal proceeding started after the seizure in some cases of quantities of cocaine in the shipments arrived in the Port of Durrës fror “Alba Exotic Fruit” company.
In the framework of these investigations, following the request of the Special Prosecution, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has imposed preventive sequestration of “Alba Exotic Fruit” company, based on the provisions of Article 274 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. /r.e/
