TIRANA, Oct.15/ATA/The Speaker of the Parliament, Lindita Nikolla received today in a meeting the Ambassador of North Macedonia to Albania, Dancho Markovski.
In his remarks, Ambassador Markovski congratulated Nikolla on her appointment as the Speaker of the Assembly and guaranteed the Republic of North Macedonia willingness to expand and intensify cooperation between the two parliaments, governments and citizens of both countries.
Albania attaches special importance to relations with North Macedonia, as a neighboring country and a stable friend. Relations are progressing very well and the two countries cooperate intensively at both bilateral and multilateral levels. Cooperation has entered a new phase of bilateral relations, through joint government meetings.
“North Macedonia is a neighbor and an excellent friend of Albania, a close partner in NATO and on the common path towards the European Union. Both our countries are ready to sit at the first Intergovernmental Roundtable with the EU and we have deserved this after the achievement in the Europeanization of our countries and the contribution to the Europeanization of the Western Balkan region,” the Speaker of Parliament, Lindita Nikolla stressed. //a.i/
