TIRANA, Oct.12/ATA/The economic recovery and the capacity utilization rate of businesses increased in the third quarter of this year, reflecting the reduction of the pandemic effect.
The Bank of Albania-BoA published the survey data on the capacity utilization rate, showing an increase in all economic sectors.
According to the BoA, service sector has the highest rate of capacity utilization. The capacity utilization rate in this sector marked 81.1% in the third quarter of 2021, or about 5.4% higher than in the previous quarter.
In industry, the capacity utilization rate reached 78.9%, or 2.9% higher than in the previous quarter. While the capacity utilization rate in trade increased by 3.9%, estimated at 78.7% during this period.
The BoA survey states that, in the construction sector the capacity utilization rate was 69.9%, about 3.1% higher than in the previous quarter and 5.5% higher than a year ago. //a.i/
