TIRANA, Oct. 11/ATA/ The US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, supported today the call of the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, who published the main recommendations of the OSCE / ODIHR for the elections, while appealing to political stakeholders that it is time to implement them.
“We urge authorities to act on this and other recommendations of OSCE/ODIHR regarding the April 25 election. The right of citizens to vote freely – without fear or pressure or illegal enticement – is basic to democracy,” the US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim said.
Celibashi shared on the social media the fourth priority recommendation of the OSCE/ODIHR final report on Albania’s April 2021 parliamentary elections, which is about ensuring citizens’ data security. //a.i/
