TIRANA, Oct.11/ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on Monday that, 2569 tests were conducted and 195 persons tested positive for the Sars- Cov2 in the past 24 hours in Albania.
The ministry in its updated communication on epidemiological situation in the country confirmed; 109 cases in Tirana, 10 cases in Fier, 7 cases in Durrës, 7 cases in Kamza, 7 cases in Vlora, 7 cases in Berat, 6 cases in Lushnja, 6 cases in Mallakastra, 5 cases in Kukës, 4 cases in Lezha, 4 cases in Kurbin, 4 cases in Kruja, 4 cases in Peqin, 3 cases in Gjirokastra, 2 cases in Përmet, 1 case in Shkodra, 1 case in Mirdita, 1 case in Kavaja, 1 case in Bulqiza, 1 case in Delvina, 1 case in Finiq, 1 case in Tepelena, 1 case in Skrapar, 1 case in Poliçan, 1 case in Gramsh.
According to Ministry of Health, there are currently 6952 active cases in Albania with 161 patients hospitalized and 15 in critical conditions.
Nine more COVID-related fatalities have been recorded in past 24 hours in the country.
347 more Covid-infected person recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of recovered coronavirus patients to 165,434 since the novel coronavirus outbreak in early March 2020. //a.i/
