TIRANA, Oct 5 /ATA/ / The chairwoman of the Parliamentary Health Commission, Albana Vokshi, said during the debate that the government has manipulated the vaccination figures.
“The Parliamentary Health Commission has received a report with manipulated figures, according to which, Albania has a vaccine coverage of at least 43.8% with at least 1 dose and 37.18% with both doses. I am presenting the official internationally certified statistics which show that Albania has administered 805 thousand doses, with 23.8% of the population fully vaccinated, Serbia with 41.8 %, Montenegro with 34.6%, Kosovo with 30.2%, North Macedonia 35.1%, Bosnia and Herzegovina has the lowest number of vaccinations, so we are the penultimate country in the region. “I am not comparing it with EU countries,” Vokshi said.
She added that no way the process of vaccination is a success with 28.8% of the population vaccinated.
Vokshi stressed that spending and attention to healthcare are at the lowest level since the government has paid attention to electoral fraud that has been referred to SPAK.
