TIRANA, September 20 /ATA/ The Democratic Party reacted today after the news published in the media that the Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha has labelled the membership of the party as anti-American.
In a press statement, the DP clarified that the chairman of the Democratic Party at no time has labelled the membership, which is the soul of the DP, as anti-American. According to the DP, this is a deliberate fabrication by those who have long misused everything for personal gain.
“The chairman of the Democratic Party has never labelled the membership, which is the soul of the Democratic Party, as anti-American. This is a deliberate fabrication by those who have long misused everything for personal gain. Basha has said that the United States of America has been, is and will be the ally of the Democratic Party for a developed and democratic Albania and no one can violate the alliance and partnership between the Democratic Party and the United States,” the statement reads.
Earlier today, the DP convened the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Group.
MP Enkelejd Alibeaj stated after the meeting that the focus was on the strategy of the opposition in the Parliament.
“We discussed the strategy of the opposition in the Parliament, and then we will detail the work in the Parliamentary committees. The only enemy of the Albanians is Edi Rama. We shall all fight against him, with strategy and by other means,” he said. /a.a/p.s./
