TIRANA Sept 15 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ The chairman of DP parliamentary group, Alfred Rushaj, stated on Wednesday that the decision on expulsion of Berisha from DP parliamentary group was tough, yet it showed that the DP is determined to follow the standards.
Rushaj said during a televised interview that we believe that all efforts that Berisha has made to spell his stand out will end well for him and the history of DP since Berisha represents the history of DP.
Regarding a plan B of DP to pull the party together, Rushaj said that there is no plan B, but only a plan A, because Berisha says that he does not intend to split the party but to unite it.
As to the act of tearing the ballot papers for election of parliament speaker in parliament, Rushaj said that the opposition stands firm on April 25 elections.
Regarding the walkout from parliament, Rushaj said that the opposition was denied representation in parliamentary groups in flagrant defiance of the rules. “We have been deprived of this right which is laid down in the regulation and the Constitution,” he said.
