TIRANA, Sept 1 /ATA/ The interest rate on Euro-denominated loans to businesses appeared stable in the second quarter of the year.
The Bank of Albania announces that it is 4.5%, from 4.4% a quarter ago, when it marked a significant decrease from the average of 5.4% last year.
According to the size of loan, the decline in interest rates has continued in this quarter for large loans (over 1 million euros), while it has slowed down in the segments of small and medium loans.
According to the fixing period, the decline was dictated by fixed interest rates of up to one year, while the fixed rate for a longer timeline showed a slight increase during this year. /j.p/sm/
