TIRANA, July 23 /ATA/ Over 2.8 million foreign nationals entered Albania during the 7 months of 2021, marking an increase of 2.4 times compared to the same period of 2020.
INSTAT published on Monday the figures of Albanian and foreign citizens that have entered the Albanian territory.
According to INSTAT, the number of foreign arrivals in Albania during the seven months of 2021 is 2,846,881, increasing by 2.4 times, as compared to the same period of 2020.
In the seven months of 2021, among the countries with the highest inflows of citizens in Albania, Poland recorded the largest increase by 4.9 times and the United States of America an increase of 4.3 times, while Greece recorded the most significant decrease by 41.2%, compared to the same period of 2020.
Meanwhile, the number of Albanian citizens leaving the territory of Albania during the seven months of 2021 is 2,179,019. This indicator has increased by 34.0%, compared to the same period a year ago.
