TIRANA, August 17/ATA/ The fires have not only damaged the forests, but have also destroyed the habitat of the animals and have endangered their lives.
The Municipality of Puka has posted a video of a deer running to escape the fire and save its life.
“Here are the devastating effects of human irresponsibility that caused the fire in the forests of Tërbun. Look at the desperate efforts of a deer that escaped the flames in the forest of Tërbun”, is read in the municipal posting.
Tërbun Mountain is located in the south of the city and the highest peak is up to 1476 meters above sea level.
Tërbun Mountain is known for its dense forests. Wildlife is in their habitat in this mountain range, as the diversity of plants and the diversity of animals makes Tërbun the home of many animals and mainly deer, known locally as “roe deer”.
Deer is a wild animal present in the Albanian territory. Deer prefers wooded areas and high-altitude meadows. His dexterous body and legs allow the creature to move quickly through the woods and easily overcome natural barriers, as seen in the video of his run to escape the flames.
The moratorium law has made possible the addition of wildlife as a whole and even deer which was an endangered species. /j.p/p.s./
