TIRANA, August 16 /ATA/ About 78 young doctors, specializing in various fields have been employed during the current year in university, regional and municipal hospitals following selection process after the completion of the 4-year cycle of specializations in Medicine.
Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu highlighted the example of dr. Freskida Pasho, neurologist, who is one of the specialist doctors that has joined the team of Gjirokastra Regional Hospital.
“78 young specialist doctors who have been employed during this year in university, regional and municipal hospitals, have strengthened the specialized service, close to the place of residence”, – said Manastirliu.
The new doctors are employed in the Fier Memorial Hospital, Durrës Regional Hospital, Dibër, Gjirokastër, Shkodër, Vlora, Kukës, Korçë, Lezhë and in the municipal hospitals of Pogradec, Mirditë, Saranda.
Since the resumption of specializations in Medicine in 2014, more than 200 specialist doctors with a contract with the Ministry of Health have been employed in regional and municipal hospitals in the country./k.s/j.p/p.s./
