TIRANA, Aug 13/ATA/ The Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage in Durrës is making a large investment in the rehabilitation of segment of the Erzeni river embankment.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Milva Ekonomi announced on Friday that, the reconstruction work is mainly focused on the area below the Shijak bridge about 400 m in length, where houses in the nearby town have been affected by flooding caused by heavy rain.
“This intervention will provide a solution to the problem of floods, affecting not only 80 ha of arable land, but also residential houses in the” Partizani “neighborhood in Shijak,” Minister Ekonomi said. //a.i/
