TIRANA, Aug 10/ATA/ The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama hosted on Monday on the shores of the Ionian sea, the two Kosovo champions of the gold medals at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Nora Gjakova and Distria Krasniqi and their coach.
The Prime Minister Rama shared today on the social media images of the two athletes and the coach, expressing respect for the strength of their example. The Premier Rama reacted to the comments about this meeting.
“Time does not stop and peace is not won by the means of warfare. Kosovo won the war thanks to the invincible alliance of the United States with the greatest European powers, in support of its liberation army. Without that alliance, neither freedom, nor citizenship, nor peace for the people of Kosovo could have been enjoyed today,” the premier Rama said.
“Can Kosovo win the peace and can its new state flourish, as well as the Albanianism as a whole, turning the dialogue with Serbia into a monologue that does not undo what is done for Serbia (on the contrary, it has been causing nerve irritation to its irreplaceable strategic allies for years now, to whom, for the fault of Kosovo monologues, Serbia seems to be more and more innocent, while Kosovo less and less reasonable)?” the Prime Minister Rama underlined.
“Can the big issue of Serbia’s recognition of Kosovo independence be resolved, by further deepening the great deformation of several years already in Kosovo, of making Pristina’s domestic policy Kosovo’s foreign policy and vice versa, as well as by introducing it in the idiotic template of betrayal and the new regional policy of official Tirana itself? ” the Prime Minister Rama wrote.
“I want to tell all those in Kosovo who have found the traitor in me, that first, I am the one who in Belgrade spoke loudly about the recognition of Kosovo independence by Serbia and, If all of them defended the recognition of Kosovo independence in foreign languages, at least as I defend it, anywhere and anytime, today Kosovo would be much more respected internationally,” the Prime Minister Rama added.
“Secondly, the premier Rama said that, “the Open Balkans is not only the path of the future towards prosperity of the Albanian nation, which its origin is in the United Europe, but it is also a new and greater opportunity on the path to recognition of Kosovo by Serbia,” the premier Rama said. //a.i/
