TIRANA, Aug 4 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported that during the last 24 hours, 3599 tests were performed, of which 99 citizens tested positive for COVID-19.
According to MoHSP, 26 cases tested positive in Tirana, 12 cases in Elbasan, 8 cases in Vau i Dejës, 7 cases in Shkodra, Kuçovë, 5 cases in Vlora, 4 cases in Durrës, Berat, Kamëz, Malësi e Madhe, 3 cases in Kruja, 2 cases in Fier, Kavaja, Lushnja, Dimal, Saranda, 1 case in Korca, Lezha, Librazhd, Konispol, Gjirokastra.
“There are currently 539 active COVID-19 patients across the country. 23 patients are receiving specialized treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital. In the last 24 hours no fatality was reported due to Sars-Cov2 positive. “23 citizens have been cured during the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases to date at 130,314 since the onset of epidemics,” the Ministry informs.
