TIRANA, July 31/ATA/ The Skërfica tunnel, 1316 meters long, is located along the strategic Kardhiq-Delvinë road, designed for development of tourism on the south coast and Saranda.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted in the social media today images from the opening moments of the Skërfica tunnel.
“The completion of this infrastructural work cuts by 3 hours the travel distance from Tirana to Saranda”, – Rama emphasized.
The deadline for the completion of works on the Kardhiq-Delvinë road is August 7, 2022, but the 7th lot, Kardhiq-Delvinë will be ready for the next tourist season.
The whole work consists of 8 lots of which 1, 2 and 3 have already been completed. This road will give a further impetus to the multidimensional development of the area and the country./k.s/p.s./
