TIRANA, July 23 /ATA/– The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on Wednesday that 2377 tests were conducted and 31 persons tested positive for the Sars- Cov2 in the past 24 hours in Albania.
The ministry in its updated communication on epidemiological situation in the country confirmed; 7 cases in Tirana, 6 cases in Elbasan, 5 cases in Skrapar, 3 cases in Lushnja, 2 cases in Lezha, 2 cases in Saranda, 1 case in Kruja, 1 case in Fier, 1 case in Has, 1 case in Berat, 1 case in Kamza.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are currently 254 active cases in Albania.
At the Infectious Diseases Hospital, 6 patients are receiving treatment. No COVID-related fatalities were recorded in past 24 hours in the country.
9 more Covid-infected person recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of recovered coronavirus patients to 130,118 since the novel coronavirus outbreak in early March 2020. //a.i/
