TIRANA, July 14/ATA/ US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim and the Albania’s Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Evis Kushi congratulated the outgoing Albanian Fulbright and Humphrey Fellows on their selection for these prestigious scholarships and wished them luck as they prepare to start their programs in the United States.
The US Ambassador Kim and Minister Kushi also presented the returned fellows with their certificates of completion and encouraged them to apply what they learned to strengthening Albania.
Ambassador Kim highlighted that this year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Fulbright program, the US State Department’s educational and cultural exchange program.
Since 2019, the Government of Albania has provided funding for Fulbright Program, which has enabled the Embassy to double the number of Albanian students who receive scholarships to pursue a Master’s degree in the United States. //a.i/
