TIRANA, July 1 /ATA/ –By I. Vata/ – Parliament is set to convene a plenary session on Thursday to discuss a series draft laws and the annual performance report of several state institutions.
The today’s parliament agenda includes review of the annual activity report of the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority for 2020, annual activity report of the Water Regulatory Authority for 2020, annual activity report of the Energy Regulatory Authority for 2020.
Lawmakers will also review the normative act on “adoption of the text agreement between the Pfizer Overseas LLC and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Public Health Institute,” the normative act on “several changes and appendixes to the 2021 state budget law,” draft law on on creation of the Railway Safety,” draft law on establishment of the Railway Regulatory Authority,” draft law on establishment, organization and functioning of the National Authority for Investigation of Railway and Marine Accidents and Incidents.
The parliament’s agenda also includes adoption of the draft law on ratification of the guarantee agreement between the Republic of Albania and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the loan agreement between the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency (ADIA) and EBRD. The draft law on ratification of the loan agreement between the Republic of Albania, represented by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and the KFW Frankfurt AM MAIN to support power sector reform in Albania –First phase.
