TIRANA, June 18 /ATA/ In context of project for curing the past, the Authority for Information on Former State Security Documents declassified the file of Reverend Mikel Koliqi.
The file contains the plan of operational measures for the arrest of Reverend Mikel Koliq, sent in internment in Gjaz, Lushnja.
According to the plan of measures, the arrest would take place on 06.04.1977, at 17:00, near the Gjaza sector, telling the people that he was arrested for activities against the government.
Those who would take part in the arrest would all be equipped with pistols and automatic weapons. According to the plan, there was carried out a search of his house.
The file also contained the minutes of the items found during the personal search and of Mikel Koliqi’s house.
The file may be made available to researchers, in accordance with the law, amended and the guide for researchers and the media. /j.p/r.e/p.s./
