TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/ Shkodra bypass is an important project for road infrastructure and transport with work running at high rates on the ground.
The construction of this road bypasses the downtown area of the city by connecting the axis Tirana-Shkodra with the axis Shkodra-Hani i Hotit.
The Albanian Road Authority informed that the first asphalt layer on the entire segment has been completed and road lighting has been installed on both sides of the road.
According to ARA, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings and bicycle lanes are nearing completion.
A number of infrastructure projects on the ground throughout the country are expected to deliver a major impact on economic development of the country and the livelihoods of the citizens. Work is running uninterruptedly for the construction of the Vlora bypass, while the Fier bypass was opened last summer. /j.p/sm/
