TIRANA, May 17/ATA/ The Shkopet tunnel on the Burrel-Milot axis, built in 1953 has already been illuminated.
The Municipality of Mat shared today on the social media a video showing the tunnel being illuminated, an investment in cooperation with Kurum which owns the concession H / C Ulëz and Shkopet.
As part of this investment, about 70 ml of protective metal barriers have been installed at both entrances of the tunnel.
The tunnel was built in 1953 on the rock, a few meters away from the current dam of the Shkopet hydropower plant. The road offers a very beautiful panorama of the nature. //a.i/
