TIRANA, May 14/ATA/ The Socialist Party will convene on June 12 an Extraordinary Congress, on the 30th anniversary of the creation of this political force, where it will present the vision for Albania 2030 and the main commitments of the governing program.
The Chairman of the Socialist Party for Tirana Ervin Bushati said in a television interview that this will be a Congress to discuss about the future and that the SP will be reconstructed as a pure political mechanism.
“It is the Congress where we will definitely look and talk about the future. What we need to change, what we need to do better. SP is not only the largest political party in the country, the majority, but it is also a party of innovation, change, development. Unlike all other parties it has a third term. There is a responsibility where the SP itself without the need for a coalition will have to govern. Therefore, knowing that if we do not make the change, the change comes to us, we have always been ready and open to change as soon as possible, as best as possible, so that the change of the Socialist Party is an improvement in governance “, he said.
“What will happen on June 12 is a Congress where some of the main ideas will be unveiled, targets will be set for the next 4 years and how it will work.”
Speaking about the third term, and the formation of the new government cabinet, Bushati underlined that this government will be clean, honest, renewed and motivated.
