TIRANA, April 15 /ATA/ –By I. Vata/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama said in a TV interview on Thursday evening that “the opposition Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) is no longer a political party that can be used for good purposes.”
Commenting on the cooperation with SMI, PM Rama acknowledged that the ruling Socialist Party has cooperated with SMI and the two have delivered on many good things in the past.
“It is true we have cooperated with SMI and I don’t regret about it as we have done a lot of good jobs thanks to our cooperation in the past,” he said.
“A lot of time has gone by since then and SMI has degraded to become an embodiment of its internal mechanism and it is no longer the political force with its internal mechanism to take hostage whomever they can,” Rama said.
“In other words, SMI is no longer useful for good purposes,” he said.
