TIRANA, March 11/ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported today that in the last 24 hours there have been performed 3077 tests, of which 602 citizens have tested positive.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection stated that the process of vaccination continues in the concentrated vaccination centers throughout the country. There were carried out 1080 vaccinations and since the beginning of vaccination, there have been performed 22,693 vaccinations for health personnel and the elderly.
In the last 24 hours, 761 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of recovered to 78,259 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently, 620 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals, 37 in intensive therapy, of which 12 patients are intubated.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 16 citizens lost the battle with COVID19 aged 41-78.
